Traders said pick up in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts led to rise in select pulses prices.
They said, however, sufficient stocks after the government's took measures to curb rising prices, kept pressure on other pulses prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka shot up by Rs 300 each to Rs 9,600-11,000 and Rs 9,800-9,900 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 9,900-10,400 and Rs 10,300-10,600 per quintal.
Moth edged up by Rs 50 to Rs 5,200-5,600, while arhar and its dal dara variety traded higher by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 7,650 and Rs 10,500-12,200 per quintal respectively.
On the other hand, gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,800-8,000, Rs 8,200-8,400 and Rs 8,500-8,600 per quintal respectively. Besigh Shaktibhog and Rajdhani eased by Rs 20 each to Rs 3,680 each per 35 kg bag.

Masoor small Rs 5,950-6,150, bold Rs 6,000-6,200, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,400-6,900, best quality Rs 6,500-7,000, Malka local Rs 7,100-7,400, best Rs 7,200-7,500, Moth Rs 5,200-5,600, Arhar Rs 7,650, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 10,500-12,200.
