Sinha, who has an MBA from the Harvard Business School, has also worked as a fund manager.
"Punita has always managed much more money than I have. She is a very successful fund manager and was in fact one of the first FIIs (Foreign Institutional Investors) back in 1991 -92," the Minister of State for Civil Aviation said.
Sinha was replying to a query on whether he or his wife has managed more money during an interactive session with Hero Enterprise Chairman Sunil Kant Munjal at the MindMine Summit here.
Earlier, Jayant Sinha was the Minister of State for Finance.
