Punjab CM's constituency gets Rs 30 cr for devl projects

Patiala, the assembly constituency of Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, was today allocated nearly Rs 30 crore for various developmental projects.
The amount was approved by the chief minister for projects like large-scale renovation of roads, establishment of underground bins, improving the drainage system, setting up of a fish mandi and development of parks and multi-level parking lots in the city, a government spokesperson said.
Replacement of street lights with the energy-saving LED lights across the city is also on the cards.
