Punjab govt earns Rs 221 crore from land auction
This was stated here today by Punjab Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Surjit Singh Rakhra.
He said auction was part of state government's campaign against illegal possession of common and undivided land in villages.
Rakhra said the state government had fixed a target of Rs 250 crore for next year through the auction system.
