Accusing Sarv Jat Khap Mahapanchayat (SJKM) chief Nafe Singh Nain of dividing the society, representatives of the Punjabi community today demanded that a case against him be registered for "anti-national" activities.
At an SJKM meeting a few days ago, Nain had made casteist remarks against Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Such remarks may incite communal passions, ex-district chief of Panchnad Smarak Samiti Mulkhraj Katyal said while presiding over a congregation of Punjabi Community here today.
Haryana government should register a case of anti-national activities against Nain for his remarks and take stern action against him, Katyal said.
