Presiding over a meeting of the Uttar Pradesh State Road Fund Management Committee, the minister said quality must be maintained in construction of roads and supervisory officers should ensure physical verification of the work done, according to an official statement.
He said if any shortcoming or irregularity is detected, immediate action should be taken against the guilty officers.
Shivpal directed officials to ensure that all stateway and district roads should be free of potholes by November end.
