Rabha community members not to vote

Members of Rabha community in Goasaihat area of Jalpaiguri district today announced they would be boycotting the assembly polls for lack of development for decades in their area.
"We have been deprived even of the basic facilities like drinking water and road communication," the Rabha panchayat samity leader said.
He said there was scarce healthcare facilities in the area.
A district official said they would be discussing the issue with the community leaders and request them not to fritter their democratic right.
