Rail traffic on Up and Down track on Khandwa-Bhusawal section of Central Railway was hit today as water crossed the danger mark on the bridge over Machak river due to heavy downpour.
The bridge over is situated on Bhirangi railway track, about 20 kms away from Harda railway station.
Nearly six trains were stranded near Harda, station master (Harda), but services resumed after three hours, B K Upadhyaya said.
Last year on August 3-4, several coaches of two express trains derailed on the bridge over Machak river, claiming 29 lives.
