The two divisions saw a fall in the temperature by one to seven degrees, according to a MeT report here.
Jalore was the hottest place in the state, registering a day temperature of 44 degree Celsius.
Barmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota and Churu recorded maximum temperatures of 43.6, 43.3, 42.5, 42.4 and 42 degree Celsius, respectively.
The state capital recorded a maximum of 37.4 degrees, seven degrees down as compared to yesterday.
The department has predicted light rains with thunderstorm for the state during the next 24 hours.
