Rain brings down mercury in Jaipur, Bikaner

Mercury dipped in Jaipur and Bikaner divisions of Rajasthan which witnessed light rainfall and thunderstorm in the past 24 hours.
The two divisions saw a fall in the temperature by one to seven degrees, according to a MeT report here.
Jalore was the hottest place in the state, registering a day temperature of 44 degree Celsius.
Barmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota and Churu recorded maximum temperatures of 43.6, 43.3, 42.5, 42.4 and 42 degree Celsius, respectively.
The state capital recorded a maximum of 37.4 degrees, seven degrees down as compared to yesterday.
The department has predicted light rains with thunderstorm for the state during the next 24 hours.
