Raje clears Pensioners Health Concession Scheme 2014

In Diwali bonanza to retired employees, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today approved the Pensioners Health Concession Scheme, 2014 to provide medical care in the government-run hospitals and approved private hospitals.
The scheme to provide medical and health benefits to lakhs of state pensioners at concessional rates was earlier announced by the chief minister during her budget speech, an official release said.
Pensioners can now avail concessional medical and health care, diagnostic services in the government-run hospitals' and approved hospitals in the state, or outside(if approved by the state), it said.
