BJP President Rajnath Singh will flag off the 'Suraj Sankalp Yatra', aimed at seeking public mandate in the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly polls, from Charbhujaji temple in Udaipur division on April 4.
"Suraj Sankalp Yatra led by state BJP President Vasundhara Raje will cover a distance of 1,380 kms in Udaipur division in first phase till April 16," MP Bhupendra Yadav said at a press conference here today.
"The Yatra will cover over 200 places in the seven divisions of the state and 35 mass meetings will take place during the period," Yadav said, adding that the last meeting under the Yatra will take place on July 21 in Jaipur division.
The MP said that senior leaders of the party, including those in parliamentary board, would also address gathering in the campaign.
He also accused Congress leaders of using "derogatory language" for Raje in the party's 'Sankalp Yatra', which was launched here last week.
The Assembly elections are due in the state later this year.
