Ram Chandra Meena appointed OSD to Paswan

IRS officer Ram Chandra Meena was today appointed as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Minister Ram Vilas Paswan.
Meena is a 1992 batch Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax cadre) officer. He has been appointed for a five-year term or on co-terminus basis with the Minister's tenure, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.
In another order, Ram Lal Gugarwal has been appointed as OSD to Minister of State for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Sanwar Lal Jat.
Gugarwal, a Rajasthan Administrative Service officer, has also been appointed for a five-year period or on co-terminus basis with the Minister's tenure, it said.
