Replying to a specific question on the issue, Ramadoss said there was only one case against Anbumani and in that too he had filed a discharge petition in the Court.
Blaming Congress for "filing the case for taking political revenge," Ramadoss said he was ready to quit politics if more than one case existed against his son.
He was responding to a question about some allegations in this regard doing rounds in social media.
A special court had directed framing of charges against him last month.
On the question of "intolerance", Ramadoss said there was an uncomfortable feeling among writers and artists that some organisation wanted to force Hindutva ideology on the people.
"This tendency should be totally changed and government should concentrate more on development and growth," he said.
To a question on alliance for the 2016 Assembly polls, he said any party barring DMK and AIADMK, which accepted Anbumani's leadership, was welcome to join hands with PMK.
There was no possibility of Vijayakanth-headed DMDK forging an alliance with his party, he said, adding that the "faction-ridden Congress" cannot be relied upon.
