Recoveries were made in only two of the 55 cases of theft registered at the Barakhamba Road police station in New Delhi district in the first six months this year, Union minister Hansraj Gangaram Ahir said.
The two recoveries were made in 12 theft cases registered at the station in April.
As many as 85,778 cases of theft were registered by the Delhi Police till June 30 and recoveries were made in 4,026 of them, the minister informed the Rajya Sabha.
