Elsewhere, linseed oil also fell further owing to subdued offtake from paint and allied industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold and castor oil commerical ruled steady in the absence of any major buying activity.
The castorseeds futures rates were unavailable.
Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein declined by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 625 from Monday's closing level of Rs 625. Groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 770 per 10kg.
In the non-edible section, linseedoil moved-down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 840 as compared to Rs 845 yesterday. Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial closed unaltered at Rs 4,025 per 100kg and Rs 835 per 10 kg, respectively.
