At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August month fell by Rs 2.20, or 0.37 per cent to Rs 597.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 2,16,040 lots.
On similar lines,, the oil for delivery in June contracts edged down by Rs 1.70, or 0.28 per cent to Rs 608.50 per 10 kg in 22,715 lots.
Market analysts said besides adequate stocks position in the physical market on higher supplies from producing belts, slackened demand mainly weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
