"As there are allegations on more corrupt former ministers belonging to Congress and NC government, all such elements should be booked under law of the land", BJP State Chief Spokesperson Sunil Sethi told reporters here.
"The party appreciates the investigations made by State Vigilance Organisation (SVO), wherein a former Minister of Congress Raman Bhalla has been indicted for illegally occupying the government land and constructing a palatial bungalow costing rupees five crores," said Sethi.
He alleged that both the Congress and NC had shielded the tainted ministers during their rule in the state, which encouraged them to indulge in loot and fleece.
Sethi, while reiterating party's categorical assurance of ending corruption, providing good governance and ensuring development, claimed that not even a single case of corruption has been noticed during the four month rule of PDP-BJP coalition government, while many developmental projects and activities have been taken into hand.
