Reshuffle: Udai Pratap Singh appointed DDA Vice-Chairman

IAS officer Udai Pratap Singh has been appointed as Vice-Chairman of Delhi Development Authority as part of senior level bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Centre.
A total of 12 Additional Secretaries have been appointed in central government departments. Of them, eight are Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and rest from other services.
Forest service officer Ashok Pai has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, National Waqf Development Corporation Limited.
Singh, a 1984 batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre, is at present working as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Tourism.
He has been appointed in place of Arun Goel, who has been named as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser in Labour and Employment Ministry, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.
Rabindra Panwar and S N Sahai have been appointed as Additional Secretary in Defence and Commerce ministries respectively.
Senior IAS officer Sumanta Chaudhuri has been appointed as Managing Director, Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium in Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary.
Suresh Kumar, a 1986 batch IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir cadre, has been appointed as Assistant Secretary in Coal Ministry. He was working in the same position in Defence Ministry.
Sanjeeva Kumar will be Additional Secretary in Department of Health and Family Welfare. Senior bureaucrat U P Singh has been appointed as Additional Secretary, River Ganga (Rejuvenation, Protection and Management) Authority against the newly created post.
Meenakshi Gupta, an officer of Indian Audit and Accounts Service, will be Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertiliser.
Anuradha Mitra, an officer of Indian Defence Accounts Service, has been named as Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Vandana Sharma, an officer of Indian Civil Accounts Service, has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Pensions and Pensioners' Welfare. She is Joint Secretary in the same department.
