Revenue official caught taking bribe

A Haryana revenue official has been caught while allegedly accepting bribe for registering a land mutation.
Anil Kumar posted as 'patwari' at Sohna in Gurgaon was caught by the Haryana Vigilance Bureau while accepting Rs 20,000, according to a statement of the bureau.
He was nabbed on the basis of a complaint filed by a Gurgaon resident.
A case was registered against the accused under the Prevention of Corruption Act at the bureau's police station at Gurgaon and investigation is in progress, a spokesman said.
