Lashing out at state chief Partap Singh Bajwa, senior Congress leaders in Moga Vijay Sathi, Jagdarshan Kaur and Tara Singh Sandhu decided to resign from state executive today and have sent their resignation to the party high command.
The leaders complained that Bajwa did not take senior leaders into confidence while constituting the mega committee.
Sandhu told reporters here that senior Congress leaders felt humiliated by the new list of Congress Committee as they had been ignored and were not accommodated despite their long years of services to the party.
Charging Bajwa with indulging in favouritism, Sandhu said they had decided to quit the state committee.
Another party leader Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa also opposed the new PPCC.
