The "Body On Me" hitmaker is currently on tour in the United States and the news of her no-show is said to have been a "real blow" for the team after she signed up as a judge for this year's show, reported Daily Mirror.
"It is always a glitzy occasion and the stops have been pulled out as everyone wanted to celebrate the new judges. It won't have the same impact if one of them isn't there," a source said.
Although Ora, 24, will miss the premiere, the three other judges - Simon Cowell , Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw - will make their appearance at the event in London on August 26.
