RLD candidate's guards arrested in Muzaffarnagar

Two private security guards of an RLD candidate were arrested after they carried arms in prohibited area at the time of filing of nominations here for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls next month.
Sunil Kumar and Kuldip Rathi, working for a private security company, were arrested as they were found in possession of two licensed pistols during the process at the Collectorate yesterday, SHO Niraj Kumar said.
The guards had come with Salman who is the RLD candidate contesting from the Charthawal Assembly constituency in Muzaffarnagar, he said.
Kumar said the guards' licensed firearms were also seized.
