The pavilion was inaugurated by Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Taj Hassan.
Speaking at the event, Hassan said Delhi traffic police has taken initiatives like e-challan system, use of hi-tech gadgets, reflective stickers on bicycles, installation of pedestrian signals, countdown timers and auditory devices in the recent past to make roads safer.
"There is a crucial need of convenient, safe, dependable and affordable public transport," he said.
Senior officers of Delhi Police and Traffic Police were present at the event along with 250 school children, who performed a play and a talk show for road safety awareness.
