Masterplan not showing Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh as a part of the country today generated heat in Bihar before the Urban Development Department deleted it from its website.
Taking strong note of it, Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said the state government would take stringent action against those responsible for preparing the map as well as those who uploaded it on the Urban Development department website.
Meanwhile, the Urban Development department removed the map from its website.
Acknowledging the mistake, Urban Development Secretary B Rajender said the error happened as the map had been lifted from the Internet and added strict action would be taken against those responsible.
