Police today booked a local RPI (A) corporator's son in connection with the murder of two persons on December 31.
Bhushan Prakash Londhe was booked, besides one Sandeep Gangurde in connection with the murders of Arjun Avhad (24) and Nikhil Gavale (22), both history-sheeters who were shot dead and their bodies dumped in a jungle along Trimbakeshwar-Javhar Road, a senior officer said.
Police had earlier arrested five persons in connection with the crime, which was suspected to be the fallout of a drunken brawl between the duo and one of the accused identified as Prince Chintrasen Singh.
Avhad and Gavale were allegedly shot dead in PL (Prakash Londhe) Group office on New Year night.
Police earlier impounded a car which was allegedly used to carry bodies of the duo to jungle from Satpur area in the city.
