Rptg after recasting first para
According to police, stones were hurled at the residence and car of a CPI-M MLA Tapasi Mondal in East Midnapore district yesterday.
Window panes of the house at Durgachowk area here were smashed and the car parked outside the house was badly damaged.
A police picket has been posted outside her house today.
The district CPI(M) leadership blamed TMC for carrying out the attack, whereas TMC denied the allegations and termed the attack as a result of infighting within CPI-M.
