Rs 2 lakh robbed from confectioner's

A robbery at a confectioner's here saw thieves taking Rs 2 lakh from the shop in the Sector-16 area of the city, police said today.
Police said that the matter came to light in the morning today when the staff at the Milan Sweet House arrived for work.
Entering the shop, they found an almirah inside open and cash of Rs 2 lakh missing from it.
A probe is on into the matter, police said.
