Rs 4000 flood relief to be credited in bank accts from t'morow

: Puducherry government today said it would start crediting flood relief of Rs 4000 in bank accounts of each of the 3.10 lakh families covered under Public Distribution System.
Chief Minister N.Rangasamy told newsmen here today that the amount would be disbursed under 'direct benefit transfer' system through bank accounts and all families would be issued the relief.
He said that those who have not opened bank accounts should do so immediately as payment through bank accounts is the only mode of disbursement.
