Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today announced financial assistance of Rs 50,000 each for the first 50 pilgrims from the state who would embark on the Kailash Mansarovar yatra this year.
The assistance would help the pilgrims meet their travel expenses, he said at a function organised by Shree Kailash Mansarovar Seva Samiti at Mata Mansa Devi Shrine complex at Panchkula, near here.
He added that his government was already providing financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each to 50 pilgrims on the Sindhu Darshan yatra which too is organised in the month of June.
