Rs 50 lakh cash reward to Gagan for bagging Olympic medal

The state government had so far given cash incentives to the tune of Rs 191.50 lakh to Narang for winning medals in various international sporting events like Asian Games (2010), Commonwealth Games (2010) etc, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said.

Gagan's father B S Narang met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy here today and the latter congratulated him over his son's Olympics achievement.

"We are very proud. All the best to Gagan," the chief minister said.
