Rs 70 lakh worth gold biscuits seized from passenger

About 2.33 kg of gold biscuits, valued at Rs 70 lakh was seized from a passenger at nearby Karippur International airport today.
The man had arrived here from Dubai by an Air India flight.
A search of his luggage revealed 20 gold biscuits concealed in an emergency lamp, the sources said.
