Newly elected Rajya Sabha MP from Rajashan Kirodi Meena today resigned as the member of the state Assembly.
Meena handed over his resignation to the speaker, Assembly spokesperson said.
Meena was made the BJP's candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections and he along with the party's other candidates Bhupendra Yadav and Madan Lal Saini got elected unopposed to the Upper House on March 15 after scrutiny of nominations.
