The previous record of 12,378 ton was set on December 19, 2017, the release said.
The per-day rated capacity of the unit is 11,232 ton.
"By making 12,475 ton of sinter in a single day (yesterday), the unit has clocked 111 per cent of its rated capacity apart from achieving the specific productivity of 1.44 ton/square metre/hour," the release added.
