Prasad said these facilities are the latest addition to the sporting facilities launnched by Rourkela Steel Plant.
The centre, 'Dhanurvidya Kendra', will provide intensive training to local talents to groom them for participating in National and International archery events, he said.
Initially 10 boys and 10 girls have been identified for training.
The archery centre has been termed as the best archery ground in the state by many experts.
The gymnasium has electronic tread-mills, specialized exercise cycles, lifting and body building equipments to not only serve the employees of the steel plant but sportspersons of the city, Prasad said.
