RSS cadres detained

Hundreds of RSS cadres were
detained today across Tamil Nadu, after they attempted to carry out a route march, police said.
Hundreds of them dressed in RSS uniform were arrested after they tried to commence the route march near Rajaratnam Stadium here, they said.
Similarly, hundreds of them were arrested in many parts of the state, they added.
RSS had organised the route march to mark its founder's day today.
RSS had obtained permission from the Madras High Court for carrying out the route march, after the city police denied permission.
