The Sangh also favours a ban on Pakistani artistes amid high tensions along the borders. However, issues like prohibiting import of Chinese products should be left to society, RSS' Delhi state general secretary Bharat Bhushan told mediapersons.
"The Ram temple is central to our faith and a temple should come up at the Ram Janmabhoomi site, which has been made clear by the Allahabad High Court verdict. It is a matter of few days, months or years.
Asked about demand made by some for day-to-day hearing, he said, "It has nothing to do with Uttar Pradesh elections".
On banning Pakistani artistes, the RSS leader said though art is a universal subject, "artistes coming here and not condemning terror and criticising those who raised the issue should be banned", especially in view of the heightened tensions along the borders.
Bharat Bhushan stressed that the country should be self reliant in manufacturing all products and cited the example of RSS affiliate Swadeshi Jagran Manch raising the issue of banning import of Chinese medicines.
The RSS leader was speaking about the just-concluded RSS National executive meeting, where the Sangh passed two resolutions against the violent attacks on its leaders and workers in Kerala and West Bengal, besides against the spread of terrorism in the country and other problems faced by society.
