SAI and Delhi earned their semifinal spots today after registering wins in their respective pool matches. While SAI thrashed Jammu nand Kashmir 6-1 in a Pool A encounter, Delhi defeated Citizens Hockey XI 5-2 in Pool B.
By virtue of the wins, SAI and Delhi have joined Hockey Gangpur-Odisha and Gujarat in the semifinals.
Meanwhile in an inconsequential Pool B match, Rajasthan scored a fighting 2-1 win over Puducherry.
Pool B: Delhi 5 Kuldeep (15th, 21st and 25th mins), Nitin Ram (21st) and Arun Kumar (70th) vs Citizens Hockey XI 2 Rohit Ghrai (17th) and Parvez Alam (42nd).
Pool A: Sports Authority Of India 6 Prabhjot Singh (28th), Sahil Gill (35th), Gurtej Singh (45th and 48th), Michael Topno (58th) and Vishal Sharma (63rd) vs Jammu and Kashmir 1 Suraj Singh Jasrotia (30th).
Pool B: Rajasthan 2 Vikram Rathor (30th and 55th) vs Puducherry 1 V Vinodhan (17th).
