The filmmaker announced his plans today on the ninth anniversary of "Hey Babby", which starred Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Vidya Balan and Fardeen Khan.
"Thank you friends for all the love and good wishes #9YearsOfHeyyBabyy looks like I'll have to start writing the sequel," Sajid, 45, tweeted.
The filmmaker said when the movie released it was panned by critics but he is happy that it has got a great recall value.
"9 years! Feel humbled when people today tell me how much they love it.. But at that time it had got very bad reviews," he wrote.
"Thanks bhai (brother).. My bro Sajid Nadiadwala.. He backed my vision and launched me. #9YearsOfHeyyBabyy," he wrote.
Meanwhile Riteish tweeted, "#HeyyBabyy: Made friends for life. @akshaykumar @SimplySajidK @bomanirani @khanff @vidya_balan #SajidNadiadwala.
