The Tamil Nadu based firm had registered a net loss at Rs 14.11 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year, Sakthi Sugars said in a BSE filing.
Total income from operations for the three-month period ending March 31, 2015, grew to Rs 261.36 crore from Rs 223.71 crore registered during year-ago period.
However, for the financial year ending March 31, 2015 net loss narrowed to Rs 34.76 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 159.38 crore during the same period last year.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 15 apiece, up by 18.30 per cent over the previous close in BSE.
