Salodia transferred as Chairman of RSTRC

The Rajasthan government today transferred Director General of Jawahar Kala Kendra Umrao Salodia to the post of Chairman of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation.
Rajesh Yadav, another IAS officer, who was Chairman cum Managing Director of the RSRTC will now hold only the post of MD in the Corporation, according to an order by the Department of Personnel of the state government.
Meanwhile, two IAS officers have been deputed to Bihar as observers for assembly elections.
Director General of Indira Gandhi Panchayti Raj Institution Rajeshwar Singh and Director of Social Justice and Empowerment department Ambrish Kumar have been deputed as election observers by the Election Commission.

During their deputation, IAS officer Anand Kumar and RAS officer Mahaveer Prasad Meena will have additional charge of the posts held by the two officers, respectively.
