Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal's nephew Manpreet Singh Badal, whose People's Party of Punjab is part of the group, claimed that "fed up" with the government, people now feel that they made a "wrong choice" by re-electing the SAD-BJP alliance.
Accusing the Chief Minister and his son Sukhbir of trying to weaken his party, Manpreet alleged that the state government has failed to meet people's expectations on all fronts.
Reiterating his party's stand of not tying up with the Congress in the state, Manpreet said the Sanjha Morcha will hold a political conference next month to discuss future strategy.
Sanjha Morcha comprises of People's Party of Punjab, Shiromani Akali Dal (Longowal), CPI and CPI(M).
