"I am open to all the opportunities I get. I don't shun any genre or type of character because that's not what an artiste does. We always welcome different kind of roles that challenge us," Sarika told PTI in an interview here.
"My only criterion is that the story should be appealing and, of course, the director plays an important role. He or she has to be sensible and creative," she said.
"Preeti and Namrata, the producers of the show are like family and when they approached me for 'Darr...', I immediately said yes. Also, because I know that they wouldn't approach me for any work that's not worth my while," she said.
"The fact that Soumik Sen was the director excited me all the more. I like the work he has done so far. Also, my previous experience of working in the horror genre has been so wonderful that it added to my reason for being a part of this show," she said.
"The series showcases a different story for every episode. This in itself is a different concept on TV. Also, the show has many good directors translating some of the most gripping stories on screen," she said.
Various directors helm different episodes of the "Darr Sabko Lagta Hai", the horror fictional television series, aired on&TV.
