Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde today said that he or any other party leader had not had any talks with Mumbai police commissioner Satyapal Singh, who has resigned from service and is planning to join politics.
"Singh has neither contacted me nor has he contacted any leader from Maharashtra BJP. We would have known had he contacted any leader at the Centre," Munde told reporters.
However, he said in terms of ideology, Singh should back BJP. "He can join BJP. If he decides to join the party, then we can consider it," Munde said.
