A bench headed by Chief Justice H L Dattu directed the CBI and the Ministry of Home Affairs to clear all impediments for processing his application for sitting in the examination by condoning the delay that may have occurred in fulfilling the requirements of notification issued on March 10.
Priyadarshi, who is SP in CBI's anti-corruption bureau, through senior advocate K K Venugopal, submitted that his application was not processed by the agency as a law officer during the 2G scam probe gave an undertaking that no officer involved into the investigation of the scam would be shifted or transferred without the court's permission.
"After receipt of the application, the MHA will condone the delay in sending the application," the bench said.
