"Today Supreme Court judgement on Arunachal Pradesh is a clear saying ... The judgement has said correctly that this was violation of the fundamental features of Constitution. All we are witnessing is onslaught on secular democracy by the BJP and the RSS," Yechury said while addressing a programme here.
Stating that it was "probably the first time" that the apex court reversed President's rule imposed by central government, Yechury said RSS and BJP have been trying to push through their communal agenda throughout the country.
In a blow to BJP and the Centre, the Supreme Court ordered restoration of Congress government in Arunachal Pradesh by quashing as "unconstitutional" the Governor's decision to advance the Legislative Assembly session by a month in December last.
