School bus driver molests minor; arrested

A school bus driver allegedly molested a five-year-old girl when she was returning home after school in the vehicle, following which he was arrested today, police said.
Kewal Krishan was arrested under section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the IPC for molesting a five-year-old girl of Bassi Gulam Hussain village.
According to a complaint by the minor's maternal grandmother, Krishan molested her granddaughter on Wednesday while she was returning home after school in his van.
The parents of the girl have been residing abroad and she was living with her grandparents in the village.

The grandmother had first reported the matter to the school management and on her complaint they fired Krishan from his job.
