Grande, 22, who played Chanel No 2 and gets killed within the first hour will appear again in episode 6, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"She comes back I believe in episode 6 and maybe more. Everyone thinks she's gone but she's not gone," said series co-creator Ryan Murphy.
Murphy did not elaborate on her return, "I wouldn't say ghost. Nothing you think is happening is happening on the show. You think some people are dead - they're not dead".
Jonas, 23, who essayed the role of Boone was left for fake dead.
"One of my favourite things is that he's spying and travelling around the campus dressed incognito as Joaquin Phoenix," he said.
