SDM suspended over complaints during Gram Sabha polls in UP

A senior district officer here has been suspended today over several complaints received against him regarding Gram Sabha election.
Locals made several complaints against Thakurdwara SDM Rajeshwar Singh over irregularities in voters lists and several other issues during Gram Sabha polls held here on November 28, District Information Officer Rishi Kumar Saxena said.
Observer Deepak Trivedi on probing the complaints found them to be true following which he sent the complaints to the SEC, Saxena said, adding that Rajeshwar Singh was suspended today.
