Countering charges against Congress that it was playing polarisation politics through separate Lingayat religion and anti-Hindi issues, he told reporters here that BJP was playing such politics by "imposing" Hindi.
Venugopal, who is in-charge of party affairs in Karnataka, is here to hold fresh round of talks withvarious committees as well as have a meeting separately with ministers in government.
"The BJP is creating polarisation in all issues. Everybody loves their language. Being an MP I got a letter written in Hindi last week from rural development minister. They are imposing Hindi," he alleged adding it was not acceptable. On the contrary, during UPA rule, MPs were getting letters in both, Hindi and English languages, he said.
He also accused the Haryana government of failure to deal with violence after the sentencing of Dera Sach Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in two rape cases. Replying to a query, Venugopal said Amit Shah had no moral right to call Siddaramaiah government as the most corrupt government in the country.
"In fact, there are no major allegations against Siddaramaiah government," he said.
