Select base metals ends mixed in thin trade

The industrial metals extended its gains on strong euro following investors sentiments over positive US earnings report as well as Spains investment grade rating by Moody's Investors Service.

Copper scrap heavy and lead moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 479 and Rs 123 from overnight close of Rs 477 and Rs 121.

However, nickel fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,055 against Rs 1,060 and copper sheet cutting edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 463 from Rs 465 yesterday.

Aluminium utensils scrap also softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 114.
